Goal for September.........
So my budget goals for September
To spend $350 or less on all food (groceries, D's lunch, food we eat at work)
Current Debt - $3000 (- auto loan)
Goal debt to be paid off in September $2300
Debt that will be carried over $700
Gas & Misc expenses - $300
Clothing - $100
Baby stuff - $50 (diapers, wipes, etc to stock up on before Fiona's birth)
I hope that we can stick to this goal & start saving some money in September :)

So I went to CVS tonight I spent $21.78 & got all of this!

$10 Exxon/Mobil gas card (FREE because I bought over $30 in participating products)
Hershey's Almond Bar FREE (the store was out of Carmello bars so they told me to substitute the bar coupon printed from Extra Care coupon machine)
Revlon Nail polish $4.99 sale saved $.50 - $1 coupon = $3.99 + got $3 ECB = $.99 final
Powerade $1 sale saved $.89 - FREE coupon = FREE
Huggies Newborn Size jumbo pack 36 ct $8.99 sale saved $2.50 - $2.50 coupon = $6.49
Huggies size 1 jumbo pack 40 ct $8.99 sale saved $2.50 - $2.50 coupon = $6.49
Huggies size 3 jumbo pack 31 ct $8.99 sale saved $2.50 - $3 coupon = $5.99

I broke this up in to 3 transactions my 1st transaction was the nail polish so that I could use the $3 ECB on my diapers, I also had a $2/$10 baby care purchase coupon that I used on the diapers, my 3rd transaction was for the gas card using the coupon that printed when I bought the diapers.
My theory is we are going to need the diapers why not get them when I can get them for around $.03 per diaper after the coupons & gas card, since we would be using gas anyway I take the $10 spent out of my total.
I saved $41.80! or around 66%!!!
